About Me

Hello, my name is Elaine Lagon and I love all things code as my passion is Web Development. I think it has always been that ever since my senior year of high school. I get so excited when there are new frameworks or new layouts to try because I love learning new things.

My framework of choice for now is Bootstrap, but when not in use, I dive deep into Responsive Design. I find that I have a much higher appreciation of being able to control my own styling using media queries.

I graduated Summa Cum Laude, and have a Bachelors of Science Degree in Multimedia Design and Web Development.

When I am not working on websites, I like to practice on the drums in my spare time, or play/write songs with my band A1terMyth (website coming next year). Of course there's other priorities, such as spending time with family and friends.

Portfolio 3: Word Guess Game

Description: In this project, I created a 'Hangman: Pop Artist Style" theme. The object is to guess the secret word before you run out of guesses. If you guess the secret word then you win, but if not, you lose.

Portfolio 4: BamazonCustomer

Description: Create an Amazon-like storefront with the MySQL skills you learned this unit. The app will take in orders from customers and deplete stock from the store's inventory.

Portfolio 6: HotRestaurant

Description: Basic app demonstrating Node and Express with jQuery. Overall purpose is to help schedule reservation requests. Restaurant has just 5 tables available. First five requests get a reservation, every request after that is sent to the waiting list.
